(Bangui, 28 April 2026 – LNC) A new school complex is being built in Bangui, and that is good news, in the 9th arrondissement of Bangui in Landja, except that this so-called modern school complex (we have no reason to doubt it) bears a name that is simply outrageous: ‘LA RACE BENIE’ (CSMRB). Furthermore, the project is the brainchild of a crackpot who calls himself the “Prophet of the Nations” (we’re not quite sure what that means); he is a young Central African named Igor Théophile WALLOT, who intends to help raise the standard of education in the Central African Republic. (Well, good luck with that!) This blessed race has no teachers; it is looking for some (that’s a good start), but according to its promotional brochure, it boasts: Exceptional facilities; the CSMRB offers various services: • Health: a fully operational infirmary to ensure the health and safety of pupils and teachers. • Catering: a fee-paying school canteen providing balanced meals, as well as a fast-food outlet dedicated to selling healthy food. • Technical facilities: computer and sewing rooms equipped for practical learning. • Research: a well-stocked library. • Sanitation: a permanent water supply system, which even provides drinking water to the local community, as well as modern toilets and bathrooms. • Energy and internet connection: a 24-hour power supply powered by solar technology, and an unlimited high-speed Starlink connection for research. • Security: an advanced surveillance system ensuring peace of mind. The CSMRB, an elite institution governed by Decree No. 112/MEN/DIR.CAB/DGEPEFSGP/DEPPE/SEFP.24, reaffirms its commitment to providing an education of international standard. Its mission is to nurture minds capable of success and enterprise, whilst cultivating strong ethical values. A comprehensive curriculum by level • Pre-school cycle (nursery): sensory development, bilingualism and moral foundations, with lessons in French, Sango, English, physical education, simplified mathematics, as well as spiritual and moral education. • Primary cycle: consolidation of learning and civic education, with lessons in languages, science and technology, humanities and ethics, arts and PE. • Lower secondary cycle: linguistic diversity (French, English, Sango, Russian, Chinese), science, practical skills (sewing, home economics), humanities and PE. • Secondary school (sixth form): from Year 10 to Year 13, offering specialised and vocational excellence, with a core academic curriculum, languages (including Arabic), technical subjects (seamanship, electrical engineering, mechanics, management), as well as spiritual and civic education. 💪🏽💪🏽Teaching staff recruitment The school is continuing its recruitment drive for qualified teachers in the above-mentioned subjects until 7 May 2026.
