(Bangui, July 14, 2026 | LNC) Bangui is hosting a mini-business forum between the Central African Republic (CAR) and Burkina Faso today and tomorrow; however, proceedings actually began yesterday with the reception of Burkinabe investors and a press briefing held by Hippolyte Ngate-Robard, the Central African Minister in charge of SMEs. In his address, Minister Ngate-Robard explained that limiting the forum to a small group was due to budgetary constraints. He noted that the event is entirely funded by the investors themselves, who are eager to establish operations in the Central African Republic. The theme of this mini-forum is: "Central African Economic Ecosystem: High-potential sectors, investment opportunities, and legal framework."
