MOLOUA RESIGNS

(Bangui, 15 May 2026 – LNC) Rumours had been circulating in Bangui, but with no confirmation; now it’s official: Félix Moloua handed his letter of resignation to Touadéra on Wednesday during a meeting held at the Renaissance Palace. No official statement detailing this announcement has been made public. In any case, it’s done! Speculation is already rife about the name of his successor, and rumours are flying thick and fast; everyone wants someone other than a bland and controversial figure (even within the MCU) like Moloua. Pending the appointment of a new Prime Minister, the outgoing government is expected to deal with day-to-day business before handing over the reins.
