(Bangui, 23 May 2026 – LNC) As revealed by Samanta IMANGA, a Central African woman and former employee of MERCURE LOGISTICS, who had filed a complaint of sexual harassment against the Lebanese national Abou Mohamed, Technical Director of the same company, the latter had attempted to flee but was arrested on the morning of 23 May at Bangui airport and subsequently taken into custody. It is therefore with great surprise that we learn of his release, just a few hours after his detention. Does this mark the end of the investigation, or is there more to it? For serious charges hang over the man, not to mention the fact that he attempted to evade justice.
