Touadéra and Bangui City Hall

(Bangui, June 29, 2026 – LNC) For lack of a better option, the "Big Man" told the new leadership team at Bangui City Hall to "prioritize, initially, working with available resources while strengthening the municipality's administrative and financial organization to ensure effective city management," reported Bangui Mayor Prisca Roseline Mano (who was narrowly elected). Touadéra conveyed this to Prisca Roseline Mano during a meeting on the afternoon of June 25. For her part, Prisca Roseline Mano states that she has a personal program she intends to implement: "We have a program that we will carry out gradually. Results cannot be achieved overnight. Our priority is first to understand the municipality's problems in order to provide appropriate solutions." It should be noted that she was narrowly elected by the city councilors on June 17, following Nakombo's ten-year tenure.
