UNIR’s 2nd anniversary

By Fanta DEMBA | LAMINE MEDIA Translated into English by Isabella Luisa CAPELLI l LAMIE MÉDIA (Bangui, 27 May 2026 – LNC) Last Saturday, a little ahead of schedule – as it was founded on 25 November 2023 – the Republican Unity Party (UNIR) celebrated its second anniversary before a crowd of activists gathered for the occasion. Its president and candidate for the December 2025 presidential election, Henri Dondra, called for continued mobilisation around the political vision he intends to champion for the country. Supporters reaffirmed their commitment and loyalty to the party, as the former Prime Minister prepares to unveil the composition of his election campaign team in the coming days. In his address, Henri Dondra spoke of the importance of this gathering: “On the occasion of our party’s second anniversary, it was essential for me to come and engage with the activists, to listen to them and understand their expectations. I presented to them the broad outlines of my vision, centred on improving the living conditions of our people, particularly our young people and our women. I will set out this programme in detail in the coming days.” And it was in an atmosphere of unity that the event drew to a close.
